Musical Cosmos

Musical Cosmos is about the world of music and sound - or more specifically, about the aspects of these huge topics that interest me. This blog will eventually be expanded into a full-blown site, but for now I’ll be writing about playing and composing music, musical styles, theory and history, the performers and composers I like, and much more. There will also be reviews of recordings and music-related books, sites, equipment and other stuff that is of interest to me. I’m especially interested in the effects of music and sound on consciousness, and in how they can be of assistance in the process by which we consciously create our own realities (more on that coming up!)

Over time Musical Cosmos will grow into an eclectic mix of writings, ranging from factual articles to opinionated rants, and will be broad in scope, without trying to be comprehensive. I’m writing for my own enjoyment, but if the material here interests others too, that’s a bonus!
